Sex Therapy

I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing difficulties in their sexual relationship. This might include concerns about desire, arousal, intimacy, communication, or sexual behaviours that feel distressing or out of control.

Sexual difficulties are often closely connected to wider relationship patterns. Many people find this a hard area to talk about, and may have kept concerns to themselves for a long time. My role is to offer a calm, non-judgemental space where these conversations can begin to feel possible.

The work involves taking time to understand what’s been happening, how difficulties have developed, and what feels important to you now. Together, we focus on making sense of the problem and finding a way forward that feels manageable and realistic.

I have worked with a wide range of sexual and intimacy issues over many years, and tailor the work to each individual or couple, rather than following a fixed programme.

Practicalities

Sessions take place online and last 50 minutes.

Sex therapy often involves meeting weekly to begin with, though this can be adjusted depending on your situation.

There isn’t a set number of sessions. Some people find a shorter period of focused work helpful, while others benefit from taking more time.

Sessions are available Monday to Wednesday, from 7 am.

Fees

Individual counselling – £115
Couple counselling – £135

Payment is requested at least 48 hours before your session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are chargeable in full.

If you’d like to arrange a sex therapy session, you’re welcome to get in touch.
